Kitchens and furniture, designed and built as one.

AS Apex Projects designs, manufactures and installs kitchens, and makes solid timber furniture to order — so the room and everything in it are planned together, by one team.

The studio

We bring kitchen design and installation together with furniture made to order. The cabinetry, the dining table and the shelving are planned to belong together — the same eye for proportion, the same care over materials.

On the kitchen side that means design consultations, complete renovations and new kitchen builds, with cabinetry, worktops and installation handled by one carpentry team — plus shopfitting and contracting for businesses.

On the furniture side it means solid wood and wood-and-steel pieces for every room, from established designs or drawn from scratch, finished in the timber and stain that suit the space.

How we work

From first conversation to final fitting.

Kitchens and furniture follow the same sequence. Each stage is agreed with you before the next one starts.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We talk through the room, how you use it, your timeline and what you want to spend.

  2. 02

    Design & drawings

A layout for the space and a drawing for every piece, agreed and signed off by you before anything is cut.

  3. 03

    Materials & finishes

Door finishes, worktops, timbers and stains chosen against real samples rather than a screen.

  4. 04

    Manufacture

Cabinetry and furniture made to the agreed drawings, then inspected for structure and finish.

  5. 05

    Installation

Kitchens fitted on site by our carpentry team; furniture delivered and placed.

Why work with us

What you can expect.

  • 01

One team from design to installation

The people who plan your kitchen are the people who manufacture and fit it. Fewer hand-offs, one point of contact, and nothing lost between drawing and site.

  • 02

    Drawings before production

Every kitchen and every made-to-order piece is drawn and confirmed with you before work begins, so what arrives is what you agreed.

  • 03

    Real materials

Quality-engineered cabinetry and durable worktops in the kitchen; solid oak, ash, SA pine and blackwood in the furniture, finished with eco-friendly stains and seals.

  • 04

    A kitchen for every brief

From an efficient, budget-conscious kitchen for an apartment to a fully bespoke design for a family home.

  • 05

    For homes and businesses

Alongside residential work we take on shopfitting, and furniture for designers, developers and hospitality projects.
